Then go for a video course. Do you like learning through hearing? Then get an audiobook. Are you a bookworm? Then buy or borrow a couple of test prep books. You should experiment and see what works. At the end of the day, you have to complete a formal ground school or home-study course to sit for the knowledge test. Which brings us to the next point. Your examiner will also quiz you on your knowledge during the oral exam.

Airquiz really does enhance the learning process and genuinely feels like it is there to make safer, better-educated pilots rather than simply to get people through exams. And the value for money is terrific. I recommend you to all our students and with good reason. Thanks a lot for your help, Airquiz was fantastic for the theory and your extra help and expansion on questions was really helpful. The questions in the bank are pretty spot on for the areas on the new exams so I wouldn't change too much if I were you. Have found your site absolutely fantastic for PPL exam prep.

- Step By Step – How I Passed My FAA PPL Written Exam With A 93%
This is my 5th consecutive 1st-time pass, and the last three exam successes were, in my view, largely attributable to the help I got from using AirQuiz. Thanks again, this is a really great site! My flying instructor told me about it, he too is well impressed, and promotes it to all the student pilots at the school. AirQuiz is one of the true bargains in aviation. Only wish it had been around when I started my exams but used it to check I was ready for the last of them. Excellent support too, should you need it. Invaluable for every trainee pilot, and an excellent way of staying current even after qualifying. Qualified pilots, take note from this comment from an examiner!

Write on either the cover sheet or another sheet the answers, in order, for the given page. For every question that you miss, highlight the number not the correct answer of every question that you missed. Circle each question that you had substantial difficulty with, or that you had to make a guess on. This will allow you to go back later on, and see questions with which you had difficulty. This will give you a percentage score for that unit, and will let you know upon final review which units you had the most or least difficulty with. Consider going though each question a number of times to really mark the correct response in your head. Make notes on questions that you frequently miss as an added method of review. I recommend taking the single Gleim practice test first, at the back of your textbook.
